Acceptable Use Policy

Declogger is a decision-support tool for governance, compliance, and institutional memory. It assists humans; it does not make decisions for them. To keep the Service within its intended risk profile under the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689), customers agree not to use Declogger for any of the uses listed below. These are uses, not topics — discussing or documenting them in a decision is fine; letting Declogger drive the outcome is not.

Prohibited uses

Employment decisions about natural persons — hiring, firing, promotion, demotion, task allocation, compensation, or performance evaluation based on Declogger's output without independent human judgment.
Access to essential services — credit scoring, creditworthiness assessment, eligibility for public benefits, insurance underwriting, or any decision that materially affects a person's access to housing, education, healthcare, or financial services.
Critical infrastructure — operating road, rail, water, gas, electricity, or digital infrastructure based on Declogger's output.
Law enforcement, migration, asylum, border control, or judicial decision-making about natural persons.
Biometric categorization, emotion recognition, or real-time biometric identification of natural persons in publicly accessible spaces.
Social scoring of natural persons based on social behaviour or personality traits.
Manipulation, deception, or exploitation of vulnerabilities of specific groups in a way that causes physical, psychological, financial, or economic harm.
Generating or distributing illegal content, including content depicting child sexual abuse, non-consensual intimate imagery, or material designed to facilitate terrorism.

Why this matters

Under Annex III of the EU AI Act, the uses above place an AI system in the high-risk category, which triggers conformity-assessment, registration, post-market monitoring, and quality-management obligations Declogger has not undertaken. Using Declogger for any of them would put both you and Declogger out of compliance.

Human oversight

For every other use, the human user remains responsible for the final decision. AI-suggested conflicts, opportunities, summaries, and answers must be reviewed by the user before they are accepted or relied upon. Declogger does not auto-apply, auto-publish, or auto-execute any action.

Enforcement

If we have reasonable grounds to believe an organization is using Declogger for a prohibited use, we may suspend or terminate the account. We will notify the Client Admin in writing and give a reasonable opportunity to remedy where practicable.
